  2. Why would there be differences in the body? He picked beautiful things, but the monster was ugly.

Why does he think of his sister, a thing of beauty, when he thinks of the monster?

    Dante and biblical references.

Why is he so scared something was behind him? Is something chasing him? What might be chasing him? Does he scared someone is chasing him for creating the monster?

    Importance of learning?

Why did the church play such a significant visual?

How could he forget about the monster? Where did he think it would go? Why would he leave it behind? Why was he relieved that it was gone?

Is this something that you would want to share? It was a huge accomplishment, but did it go wrong? Did he want to tell?

Was he really sick or just worried to death? Mental illness?

Spring? He gets better. Winter? That is when he was sick and he had done the deed. What is the relationship between the season and the mental state of Victor?

  4. I think he was shocked at how his monster turned out because it still looked dead, I think he starts halusinating about the dead, he is scared of his creation because it looked like it was still dead but it was moving and he thought it was going to attack him. Frankenstein was glad to see his freind, and starts to explain what he had been doing with his life. He became sick from fear of his creation and his freind nursed him back to health. When he wakes up he has a letter from his family.

  10. He was clearly obsessing over his project .

    Who is Darby ?

  11. The Doctor seems obsessed and crazy about his work, duranged in a sense. He is let down about the conclusion of his accomplishment. He tried to fill a whole in his life by bring this thing to life, but it only made him miss whatever he lost more. Who did he lose? What in his life is he trying to replace by creating the monster? Whatever it is haunted him all night. He went on an insane tangent around the town in the rain. He doesnt know what to do with the creature he created now that he'd made it. Seeing his friend calmed him down. His imagination got the best of him at his place, that the monster got him. His friend is very worried for him. What relation does he have with this friend? What is the gift? who is it from?

  12. dark mood, broad vocabulary, very descriptive and easy to picture
the narrator seems depressed and regretful.

as the story goes on the narrators mood changed to happiness as he thought that the monster he had created had disappeared

the narrator became struck by a sickness, i believe that was completely mental caused by his large amount of very strong and intense emotions that seemed to go rapidly up and down

the other character in the story must care about the narrator with great amount to have spent the entire winter with him to help him recover

  14. He brought back life and He realized he created a dangerous monster that cant be stopped.

  15. the unintended consequence was that the thing he created was not what he wanted it to be. it wasnt beautiful it was a monster. and it reminded him of his sister.

he was not happy because it had allthe parts he thought was beutiful and it was ugly. he spent years working on it. and it scard him

i think the rais signifys sadness. the mistake he made. and the regrets he has

  16. He was crazy! Why did he make the monster? Why would he leave the monster at his apartment? Basically he made something he wasn't picturing and it reminded him of his sister

  17. I find it interesting that he did what so many of us do today, we take beautiful things and try to make them work together to create something even more beautiful but in the end it just ends up being disgusting and not at all what we had thought it would become. With Frankenstein, Victor thought that putting beautiful parts together that his creation would also be beautiful, but was not. The rain signifies regret and sorrow for the failure of his creation. All Victor needed was a companion. I wonder if he was scared of his creation? Henry is concerned for Victor, he laughed and celebrated like a mad man when he found out that his monster had gone. Victor got sick very suddenly, and Henry nursed him back to health. He was there for him for many months. Victor seems like he fell into some sort of depression and could not experience joy very often. His friend helped him as he continued to relapse back into depression, but then finally started to find joy in more and more things, then he found himself being happy more often and finally got over his "depression." All in all, Victor just needed someone there for him. He tried creating that but it didn't work, he found a companion when he least expected it.

  18. This guy is obviously going insane due to the fact that his experiment went so horribly wrong. He is upset about animating such an ugly beast.
Seeing his old friend took him back to better times back before he had created his experiment. He felt comfort in seeing a familiar face.

  19. He says the monsters face is beautiful but describes it in an ugly way.

Why does he hate the monster so much if he think its beautiful? He is disgusted by something he had worked two years for. I dont care how ugly something was, if I spent two years on it I would love that thing.

I can't tell if the monster is evil or just slow.

Why does he not just kill the monster?

He should just go home and lock the monster up.

I thought the boy was a girl from the voice on the recording.

    Where did the monster go?

Save him from what? The monster was gone.

    What was he sick with?

I want to know what the letter was about.

If he has family and some friends then why did he have to create the monster?

  20. Even if you put many beautiful things together, it doesn't mean that they will look beatiful together.

Why did he want to create this creature so badly and what made him think that it was even a good idea?

  21. he is obsessed with his project. his whole life it was his dream to make a monster from nothing, he was shocked that the monster looked like it was dead. but it back fired, the monster tried to attack him, and he escaped. the monster could not be tamed, he was then happy the monster left so he could go back home to his apartment.
    Who is darby?

  22. They say he took beautiful body parts why is he ugly?
Was he really sick.or just crazy?
Why he get so happy when frankinstin left?
Why did he think somone was behind him?
why did he work so hard on a monster?
Why would he not go back?

Why did a old friend make everyrhing ok?
Why does seasons change how he acts?

  23. It was 1 in the morning when the yellow eyed monster opened his eyes. He wasn't proportional and he thought it was going to be beautiful considering he worked so hard on it. Frankenstein had straight black lips and yellow skin. Victor tried to have alone time and get some sleep, but it was very hard for him. He dreamed of Elizabeth and his dead mother. Once Victor awoken he was surprised to see Frankenstein at the end of his bed. He thought the monster was going to attack him considering his arms were reaching out to him and he was trying to say something to him. Victor was so scared of him that he ran away from him, saying nothing.

He roamed the streets not knowing where he was. When Victor was on a road all alone he did not want to turn back to check what was behind him because he knew. However, he didn't want to admit that there was someone following him. Once running into Henry and speaking to him about Frankenstein he felt calm for once. He asked why Henry had left his parents all alone.

Victor returned back to the apartment. He thought he saw Frankenstein come out of the darkness from the other side of the room so he ran, again. Therefore, he came back to Henry and talked to him.

Then Victor got a really bad fever that lasted for quite some time. Henry became his only nurse. No one could help his illness, but him himself. Surprisingly, he recovered around spring time. Victor was very happy and wasn't upset like he had been.

Henry then tells Victor that he has a letter from his cousin that has been awaiting for him.

  26. he is disappointed with the "monster" because after spending 2 years to create this thing, the only thing he has to show for it is something he believes is ugly, and horrifying

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think it is crazyt how he just created this monster and he is now scared of what he just created. Why would he create such a beast? Why would he not do something to kill it, or unrevive it? How can he go this insane over just a creature that he created. It is to bad that his created didn't work and fill his lost void. Hopefully he can recover from such a terrible thing.

  28. His mindset was in the right place but the complete thing at the end, turned out to be ugly and disgusting. He feels disappointed for what he created because he failed at making something good and not bad like the monster he created.
